Coconut Chattni

 


 

Ingredients:


Coconut-chopped 1 and ½ cup
Water – 1 cup
Split Bengal gram cooked – 40 grams
Garlic - half
Red chilies – 1 and ½  tsp
Lemon – 1 and ½  tsp
Salt as needed
Cooking oil
Black Gram – washed    
Mustard seeds ¾ tsp
Green chilies

Directions:


Cut red chilies and garlic into small pieces. Mix coconut with Bengal gram and water, blend all together to a paste, and add salt as per taste and lemon. Heat cooking oil in a pan and put black gram, mustard seeds and green chilies into it and cook for a while, now put it into the coconut paste made earlier and then serve it in a dish.
